Camping Village Punta Navaccia is committed to making its website accessible, in compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – Level AA and respecting the principles of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), effective from June 28, 2025.
Scope
This statement applies to the website: https://www.puntanavaccia.it/.
Technical measures for accessibility
During the design and development of the site, the following technical measures were implemented to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA:
- Proper semantic HTML structure;
- Consistent heading structure: h1 - h2 – h3 – h4..;
- Keyboard accessible navigation of menus and all page content;
- Visible and consistent focus on interactive elements;
- Implementation of focus trap on modals, popups, layers, and dialogs to keep focus within the active element;
- Meaningful `alt` attributes for all informative images;
- Minimum color contrast of 4.5:1 between text and background;
- Forms and buttons with clear labels, readable by screen readers;
- Use of ARIA roles only where necessary and in compliance;
- Responsive layout readable on any device;
- Text can be resized up to 200% via browser settings without loss of readability or functionality;
- Links with contextual and meaningful descriptions (e.g., “Discover the bungalows”). Generic text (e.g., “Learn more”) uses aria-label or aria-labelledby attributes correctly;
- Screen reader compatibility (tested with NVDA, VoiceOver);
- Accessible handling of carousels and galleries;
- Presence of a Skip to content link visible on keyboard focus at the top of the page;
- Use of clear and readable language;
- Visual order and prevention of “text walls”.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with the requirements of Appendix A of UNI CEI EN 301549 due to the non-conformities listed below.
Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts, the following content is not accessible:
- Attached PDF documents such as price lists, regulations, or brochures may not be fully accessible with assistive technologies.
- There is a background video without audio on the homepage, used decoratively. It does not contain essential information and does not interfere with navigation or readability. No transcription or subtitles are provided. Playback cannot be paused currently; future updates may add this feature.
Statement drafting
This statement was drafted on 14/11/2025.
The evaluation was conducted via internal self-assessment based on:
- Technical analysis using automated tools (Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, Silktide, WAVE).
- Manual tests and keyboard navigation tests.
